Hi! Welcome to the weekend:) Samantha, from Southern Sparkle Nail Art, shows us her stamping skills today. I've always thought stamping would be cool to try, I just haven't gotten up the courage to actually order the supplies and try it. I'm really curious to see how it's done. Perhaps I need to watch a few videos on Youtube. I would love to be able to do an animal print or a chevron pattern. So far my nail art consists of Jamberry Nail Shields....I think I need to expand my horizons. In the meantime, check out Samantha's creation.

Hi Lacquer Lovers! I'm Samantha from Southern Sparkle Nail Art
This is my first guest post here at iHeartPrettyPolish, okay so maybe it's my first guest post ever, and I'm so excited to share this mani with y'all.
This is the first time I've ever done full nail stamping, hence the use of similar colors. I used the multiple shell image from Winstonia plate W108. I absolutely love Winstonia plates. They're some of the best out there.

I started off with my favorite basecoat, Revlon ColorStay, and then I painted 1 coat of Wet n Wild I Need a Refresh-Mint. Once that was completely dry I started stamping with Sally Hansen Blue Me Away. I added my topcoat, ProFX Quick Dry, after the stamp was dry.

I love the way this turned out, especially for my first time using a full nail stamp! It's subtle, but noticeable, which I favor in this design. It's certainly a lot different than what I normally do!

Thank you Essie for having me! Have a lovely day!
Thanks Samantha! That looks so cool.

That stamping is adorable!!! I have yet to try stamping as well. I'm a little apprehensive and nervous and really don't know where to start but maybe it's something I just need to take the plunge and do!!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks so pretty and delicate! Its such a neat touch that your stamping design is really close in color to your base color that you can't really tell that there is a stamping design until you really look :)
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty and NEAT. It makes me want to try stamping. Somebody talk me out of it.
ReplyDeleteThank you for having me Essie!
