Zoya Hazel from Spring 2013 Irresistible Collection Review/Swatches

Hello All!  I have Hazel from Zoya's 2013 Irresistible Collection to show you today.

Zoya Hazel
Hazel is described as a "full coverage, blue green foil metallic".  All you need is two coats to achieve maximum opacity.  It applied very easily and didn't show brush strokes as many metallics do.  I like the dimension to this.  It almost looks like there is a little copper in the mix...but Zoya doesn't mention it.  I'm wondering if the silver just looks a little coppery next to the blue/green specks....however it happened, I like it:)
Zoya Hazel
I really love metallic polishes.  They are so easy to apply and seem to be very long wearing. I tend to wear metallics when I need to throw on some nail polish before I run out the door.  They work so well in a pinch because they apply so easily and dry so quickly. If you have been looking for a cool, blue-tone metallic, Hazel is the one for you!  (and isn't the name cute? Love it!)  The Irresistible Collection is made up of different shades of metallic - so whatever your color preference is, they are sure to have one for you.

If you didn't see yesterday's post of the Spring Fling Giveaway, please check it out here.  There are so many awesome prizes from Bloggers & Indie Polish Creators.  Good Luck!

Note:  Zoya Hazel was provided to me for my honest review.  See my Disclosure Policy for more information.

  1. I have loved this polish since I first saw it! I love how the green flecks are in it and I do agree with you on it appearing to be a bit of copper in there, I have noticed that in just about every swatch of this!

    1. I'm glad you have noticed that on other swatches. For a second there I was wondering if that was my nail showing through...like it's patchy or something. Thanks!

    1. It's weird that Zoya doesn't comment on it when they are explaining the color??? Hmmm.

  6. Hazel is so pretty on you! I love it... it's one of my favorites from all of Zoya's summer offerings. I think I will be wearing it frequently through the summer. :-)

  11. I think you're right - this very well could be a lighter sister to FeiFei. I can't WAIT to get my Zoya package!! Feels like it's taking an eternity. ;-)
Oh, regarding your comment about nail art to spice it up, do you have any stamping plates? They're a super easy way to do that! For example, the zebra pattern in black polish would look pretty awesome over this, I reckon. :-)

    1. No, I don't have any stamping plates. But that zebra pattern has me curious...:)

  12. You wear colors like this so well. :) And yours is the first photo I've seen where Hazel doesn't look almost just like Crystal.
