Skittlette Inspired by Christine at Polished Marvels

If you haven't had the pleasure of meeting Christine at Polished Marvels, you are missing out.  Christine is one of the most loving and friendly women I have ever met.  I only know her through blogging, but I feel like I have a true friend in her.  I am in Minnesota (USA) and Christine lives in Switzerland and it feels like she is right next door.

If you are a blogger, you know how there are periods in time where you say to yourself "what the heck am I doing??" Unless you are a blogger, you don't realize how much work goes into it.  When I have had these low times, Christine has been there to pick me up.  She is so kind and knows exactly what to say to keep me going. She reminds me why I dedicate so much time to this hobby and friends like her are what make it so rewarding.

Christine recently lost her husband unexpectedly.  I couldn't imagine this happening to me as my husband is my best friend.  Christine has always spoke highly of her husband and my heart breaks for her.  She took a small blogging break to work through everything and has recently come back to the blogging world with her uplifting posts and comments.  I can't believe her strength!  She has helped remind me to be thankful for each day I have with the people in my life and never take them for granted.  These people include my friends I have made through blogging.

Just yesterday Christine posted a Skittlette mani like this based on her husband's helmet.  I loved it so much, I decided to duplicate the look and dedicate it to Christine.  I didn't have the same polishes, but I tried:)
And I would like to end this with a funny little e-card that I saw on Pinterest.  I have met so many people while blogging that I truly call "friends".
Please visit Christine's post here and show her a little love.  You will have an instant friend in her and you your life will be just a bit happier with her in it.

Take care Christine <3

    2. I never imagined it either. For people all around that world to come together over nail polish:) I think that is part of the reason I love nail polish so much...it brought all of you lovely people into my life.
