Happy Friday! I'm home with my 6 year old...she has pink eye :( The good thing is, it's nice and sunny out and now I have the day off!
For this Friday Favorites with a Flair, I chose OPI You Don't Know Jacques (Fav) with Model City Polish Dipping Chocolate (Flair).

Dipping Chocolate is a chocolate brown base with holographic glitter. I only used one coat over two coats of OPI You Don't Know Jacques for this look.
I really like this look. Recently, I saw swatches of You Don't Know Jacques Suede and immediately fell in love. I thought this would look similar to it and it really does, minus the suede finish. I think I'm going to throw a matte top coat on this and see what happens.
The holographic glitter in Dipping Chocolate is very apparent in real life. I love how it looks with the brown - so unique. I would also like to note that Dipping Chocolate is very shiny. I do have a layer of Revlon Colorstay Top Coat over it; but sometimes certain glitters can be a little rough and not as shiny, even with a top coat. This one is an exception.
Crazy, I just looked back to see when I first showed You Don't Know Jacques on my blog and it was almost exactly a year ago. I wore it on May 26, 2012. I cringe at those swatches...eeek...what in the heck was going on with the tips of my nails in the second photo?? LOL. And that is exactly why I like doing Friday Favorites with a Flair. I can bring back polishes that I may have already shown on my blog and possibly provide a better picture. You Don't Know Jacques is such an awesome brown - opaque in two coats. I highly recommend it.

...update!...I added Butter London's Matte Top Coat. It looks more like OPI You Don't Know Jacques Suede! Yippeee:)
