Zoya PixieDust Stevie Review/Swatches

I hope you are having a nice week so far.  If you read my post on Saturday, I mentioned that we had Minnesota Twins Baseball tickets for Sunday - but there was going to be a snow storm.  The game ended up being postponed until August.  So hopefully the snow will be gone by then ;)  The ice is starting to melt on the river that we live on, so the geese are starting to migrate to that little open spot.  The poor things are as confused as we are...I think this is the time that they normally start building their nests and laying eggs, but we have so much snow on the ground, that they don't know what to do with themselves :(
But enough about baseball and geese (random), I have another PixieDust for you today!
This is "Stevie" from Zoya's Summer 2013 PixieDust Collection.
*Provided for Review*
Zoya PixieDust Stevie
Stevie is described as a violet sparkle.  I applied 2 coats for this mani and it probably could have used one more, because you can a little bit of my nail in some places.

My accent nail is a Jamberry Nail Shield and it looks like it's a peacock design.  Whenever I order from Kelly Baas, the Jamberry Consultant, she always throws in extra little sample sheets...this one was from one of those sheets.  I think it's pretty cute!

The photo below shows the PixieDust with one coat of top coat.  At first I liked them better with a top coat, but I think I'm starting to like them without a little more.

I've talked so much about how quick and easy these PixieDusts are when applying them, but I haven't mentioned the wear time.  I had one on from Saturday until today (Tuesday) and it hasn't chipped yet.  I think this would be great for a vacation because of the wear time.

Have a great day everyone!

Note:  The Zoya PixieDust Collection was provided to me for my honest review.  See my Disclosure Policy for more information.

  1. I love everything about this mani!!Sounds like mega confused weather in your neck of the words. Weather here is bipolar so I think our birds are used to it.

  3. LOVE this one too!!! I am 99% certain I'll hafta get some of these now before the "sand" finish becomes as HTF as strong, linear holos a la OPI. ;-) Btw, thank you for mentioning wear time! An added bonus of this finish for sure. :-)

    1. Yes, August is quite a ways away. I hope I don't put the tickets somewhere for safe keeping and forget where I put them. Yes, I think you should get some samples from Kelly to see if they work for you.

  5. Hi Essie, I just love how the polish and the nailwrap complement each other!!! Stevie looks beautiful on you and while I understand your remark about a third coat I rather like the ever so soft transperency of two coats!! You probably can guess that I love the textured finish look and with Stevie there is the most wonderful contrast between the texture and the sparkle which really sets it apart from its pals!!! Have a wonderful day <3

    1. Do you have any PixieDusts yet? You should see them in person if you don't! Way better than any picture can show.

    2. I have two from their first Pixie Collection - Vespa and the nude one. These were not yet available with international e-seller and Zoya is unavailable in the stores in Switzerland, but then patience is a virtue ;-)
