Vintage from Maya Cosmetics Review/Swatches

I have so many polishes that I can blame someone else for making me buy.  This would be one of those.  After seeing "Vintage" from Maya Cosmetics on Pointless Cafe a few weeks so, I knew I had to have it.  My nails/photos/swatches aren't nearly as beautiful as Pointless Cafe...but I try.

Vintage is described as a "faded plum with silver shimmer and subtle scattered holo."  When I saw it on Pointless Cafe's blog, I knew I would love it because it's my favorite formula - the subtle shimmer that almost makes it look like velvet.  Other favorites I have with this formula are Butter London Victoriana, Butter London Posh Bird, and OPI Pedal Faster Suzi.  They are so easy to apply and they look just beautiful!

The photo above doesn't have a top coat and I think I like that look the best!  This is truly a one coater and I wish I wouldn't have gone with the second coat so I could prove it.

I thought this close-up was kindof fun:)

I grabbed two other polishes like this from the Maya Cosmetics site and I can't wait to try them.  They have the same subtle shimmer, so I'm pretty sure I'm going to love them as much as this.

The polishes I bought are from the "Shimmers" Category on the Maya Site.  Check them out!
Have a great day!

  3. Hi Essie, my first thought when I saw the photos: oh Victoriana in mocca!!!! It is absolutely beautiful on you! First thought when I read your text: Your pictures are vivid and live and the next thing you do is seeing yourself wearing the polish. Like the most recent blue Essie - I first did not intend to buy it but it was YOUR post that made me change my mind. Also your description of any polish by you has so far been for me spot on and helpful. In short: Essie - you ROCK <3
