Happy Thursday! The river finally opened in front of our house, so the ducks and geese are frolicking in the water as if it were Spring...sadly, we are in a "Winter" storm warning AGAIN... enough about the weather, I feel like an old lady commenting on the weather:)
Check out this beauty! This is my second Maya Cosmetics polish I purchased after seeing Pointless Cafe's post of Vintage about a month ago. I have Vintage on my blog here. As I said in my Vintage post, I am drawn to this formula - opaque creme with itsy bitsy silver shimmer.
Graceless lady is described on the Maya Cosmetics site as "Blue-gray base with silver sparkle, hints of blue and purple sparkle, and subtle scattered holo."
Unless you are in direct sunlight or really analyzing, you can't see the holographic shimmer. But I was admiring my nails in the car (did you ever notice how beautiful nail polish is in the car?) and the holographic shimmer is beautiful!
This has a great formula and was opaque in two coats. I do notice a bit of visible nail at the base where I placed my brush, but that may be from adding the second coat too soon. I have been wearing this for the past two days and there has been no chipping or tip wear.
I think my favorite outfit to wear with this polish is jeans and a white top. It looks so cool next to blue jeans...I wish I would have taken a picture.
Check out the Maya Cosmetics site - they have a wide range of colors and finishes, I urge you to check out the "Shimmers" section!
Have a great day.
