Sassy Lacquer Dawns Dew Review/Swatches

Hello!  I have another indie polish to show you and this is a beaut!  This is Sassy Lacquer Dawns Dew.

I layered Dawns Dew over Orly Liquid Vinyl (creme black).  Dawns Dew is a sheer blue base with tiny specks of blue glitter throughout.  It makes lighter shades look iridescent, but I thought it would be fun to try it over a black.  It transformed it into a beautiful glimmery navy blue.

When I was driving (to Buffalo Wild Wings - my FAV) last night, I could see little bits of purple/fuchsia shimmers as well.  It was soooo beautiful in the sun.  I wish I could show you.

This top coat is so versatile.  I love how you can layer it over so many different colors and it changes the appearance of those polishes without having to deal with glitter.  This could almost double your nail polish collection because of the combos you could do.

  3. It doesn't look anything interesting to me in the bottle but over the black it looks gorgeous!

  5. Gorgeous duo! I'm honestly not that sold on most effects toppers over black, but this one looks really cool, like it might actually be thbe color of a polish, if that makes any sense...

    1. I know, you would think by looking at it (and if you ignore the parts where I didn't completely cover the black) it looks like I'm just holding some random bottle of polish.

    1. I don't have many of these and I do really like it. I read that I should try it over red. That would be fun!
