Not Too Polished Wearin' o' the Green and Fightin' Irish Review/Swatches

I have two Not Too Polished polishes for you today!
When Elizabeth; the creator, asked me which collection I would be interested in reviewing, I told her that the Luck of the Irish Collection sounded right up my alley because I love green nail polish.

The first one is called Wearin' o' the Green and I think it's great!
Not Too Polished Wearin o the green
Not Too Polished describes this as a "gorgeous, creamy grass green, packed with a stunning golden shimmer."  This is a sheer/jelly polish - I used three coats for this manicure.

Wearin' o' the Green is my favorite polish from the collection.  I don't have any greens like it, so that's always a plus!

Below I have Fightin' Irish.
Not Too Polished Fightin Irish
Not Too Polished describes this as "a stunning blackened-evergreen shimmer polish, flecked with subtle violet-blue duochrome".  It was a little hard to capture the duochrome in photographs.  It became more apparent after three coats and I wish you could see it better in these photos :-/

This is a nice subtle alternative to an opaque black.  If you would like to wear black polish, but have a hard time wearing a stark black, this may be for you.

I thought I'd show one more shot of Wearin' o' the Green:)  There is so much dimension to it, I just loved wearing it.

I appreciate the fact that Elizabeth from Not Too Polished includes subtle shimmers and cremes in her collection, along with glitter. Everyone has different tastes in finishes, so she is sure to capture the interests of many.

Where to Find Not Too Polished:
*The bottles shown in this post are mini's.  The ones you will receive are full size for $7.50

The Luck of the Irish Collection will be available through the end of March.  I have a few more glitters from the collection to show you, so keep an eye out.

Note: Wearin' o' the Green and Fightin' Irish were provided to me for my honest review.  See my Disclosure Policy for more information.

  1. Wearin' O' The Green is really cool! I can see why you liked wearing it so much. The shade is so spring-y and I love the gold shimmers :) Fightin' Irish is pretty, too-- it reminds me of L'Oreal Stroke of Midnight.

    1. Thanks! I was really happy with the green - it looked a lot better on the nails than in the bottle.
