Have you ever been drawn to a collection of nail polish in a certain store where every time you walk by, you have to stop and stare? Well that's what happens to me at Target when I see the Covergirl Outlast polishes. Target is my "go to" store for everything, so when I tell you I stop and stare at these a lot, I mean a few times a week. After some coaxing by some of my nail polish friends on FB, I finally took the plunge and grabbed one - this is Forever Festive.
Someone mentioned on Facebook that this is a dupe for Butter London Knees Up. It's funny because I have always looked at Knees Up, but it was hard for me to pay $14 for a red nail polish. So when I heard this could be a dupe, I decided it may be worth the $4 and change.
And after wearing it...I have decided that it sure is worth it. WOWZERS, I love this red. I don't wear red very often and I am thinking it's because I haven't found a red that suits me. I think I have found it....no, I know I have found it.
As you can see, this isn't just a plain old red. This is glossy, metallic(y), and has so much dimension! Covergirl claims that you don't have to wear a base or top coat with these polishes. They say there is a base coat, high gloss color, and chip resistant top coat all in one. Now I wouldn't know yet because I did put a top coat on to make it dry faster...but I do know that I have worn it for 3 full days and it hasn't chipped yet.
I included the shot above because I thought it came out pretty cool looking the way the light was bouncing off...I wish my camera would do that more often:)
What are you waiting for? Go get some of these polishes!
Have a nice day.

I have this polish! It's so pretty. :) Actually, I went crazy and bought about 7 or 8 of these when they first came out, haha.

ReplyDeleteYes, they really are. Thanks for commenting!
DeleteI just bought Midnight Magic, it looked even better on than in the bottle and it lasted a week before chipping on me. Considering i have my hands in water a lot at work that's pretty amazing. Most polishes don't last one day at work.
