Must Have Red! Covergirl Outlast Stay Brilliant Polish in Forever Festive

Have you ever been drawn to a collection of nail polish in a certain store where every time you walk by, you have to stop and stare?  Well that's what happens to me at Target when I see the Covergirl Outlast polishes.  Target is my "go to" store for everything, so when I tell you I stop and stare at these a lot, I mean a few times a week.  After some coaxing by some of my nail polish friends on FB, I finally took the plunge and grabbed one - this is Forever Festive.

Someone mentioned on Facebook that this is a dupe for Butter London Knees Up.  It's funny because I have always looked at Knees Up, but it was hard for me to pay $14 for a red nail polish.  So when I heard this could be a dupe, I decided it may be worth the $4 and change.

And after wearing it...I have decided that it sure is worth it.  WOWZERS, I love this red.  I don't wear red very often and I am thinking it's because I haven't found a red that suits me.  I think I have found it....no, I know I have found it.

As you can see, this isn't just a plain old red.  This is glossy, metallic(y), and has so much dimension!  Covergirl claims that you don't have to wear a base or top coat with these polishes.  They say there is a base coat, high gloss color, and chip resistant top coat all in one.  Now I wouldn't know yet because I did put a top coat on to make it dry faster...but I do know that I have worn it for 3 full days and it hasn't chipped yet.

I included the shot above because I thought it came out pretty cool looking the way the light was bouncing off...I wish my camera would do that more often:)

What are you waiting for? Go get some of these polishes!

Have a nice day.

  2. This is one of the most beautiful reds ever and it looks really great on you. I love the one polish I tried from this line, grapevine, the pigment is dense and the bottles are so beautiful : D This is a high quality polish line. I am happy to see you like it too : D

  8. I just bought Midnight Magic, it looked even better on than in the bottle and it lasted a week before chipping on me. Considering i have my hands in water a lot at work that's pretty amazing. Most polishes don't last one day at work.
