Revlon Dazzle Swatch and Review Orly Cotton Candy Base

Hello and Happy Valentine's Day! I know, my v-day mani doesn't have hearts or cupids on them, but they are a nice bright coral/pink and I love them.  This polish is Revlon Dazzle from the Brilliant Strength Line.  I layered it over Orly Cotton Candy.
This is my first time trying a Revlon Brilliant Strength thanks to Steph at Imperfectly Painted.  Steph was so happy with this polish (after picking it up on a whim), that she held a quick little Facebook giveaway where she gave two of them away.  And it just so happened that I was lucky enough to win.  Thanks Steph!
She found this at CVS.  I don't have a CVS near me....oh...actually; now that I think of it, they are building one in my town as I type this.  I'm excited because they carry a few different brands that I can't find around here.  I'm not sure if they sell this Diamond Strength Line anywhere else, but I was so impressed that I think I'll keep my eyes open for it.
Steph described Dazzle perfectly as "a warm bubblegum pink jelly with iridescent glass fleck glitter and teeny micro iridescent glitters".  I decided I wanted more of an opaque finish so I put Orly Cotton Candy down as a base.  I reviewed Cotton Candy quite a while ago here.  Wow, looking back at that swatch makes me see how far I have come!  I had only been blogging about a month when I took that photo.   You can't really tell by these photos, but this nail polish is so bright - it almost glows.
Thanks Steph for holding that giveaway because I got to try a polish that I love!  I will be wearing this in the summer again for sure!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone.  Be sure to kiss a loved one:)

    1. Yes, obviously great minds think alike...hehe. No, you haven't been living under a rock - or perhaps I have been living under the same one because I have never heard of it either.

    1. I know. I don't know if I'll be able to find another one either. Unless that new CVS will have it.

  4. This is so pretty! Perfect for the day. I've never seen Brilliant Strength, either. Maybe I'm not stalking my pharmacy store's makeup section enough, lol. Happy Valentine's Day, friend ♥

  5. What a pretty color!!! I have a few Extra Cash bucks that expire this weekend and my CVS always has a full display of these... looks like I'll be stopping there this weekend ;) I love the combination of pink and shimmer. Your base is perfect for it too.

    1. Me too. It was so bright and fun to wear - especially in the cold Minnesota winter.
