OPI Polka.com and Essie Bikini So Teeny Review and Swatches

I have two fun polishes to show you that look great together.  This is Essie Bikini So Teeny with OPI Polka.com on top.

I started off with Bikini So Teeny.  This is from Essie's Summer 2012 Bikini So Teeny Collection.

I didn't pick up Bikini So Teeny right away because I was so focused on Mojito Madness.  I started seeing more swatches of BST and liking them, so I ended up putting it on my wishlist.  I am lucky enough to have my mom look at my wishlist when shopping for Christmas and gave me Bikini So Teeny.  It's such a fun, bright, light blue. It took me 3 coats to achieve this look, but I think I still had some lotion on my nails when I painted and sometimes that effects how it applies.

Then I grabbed OPI Polka.com.  This was the other polish I picked up from OPI's Spring/Summer Euro Centrale Collection.  I also have Can't Find My Czechbook swatched here and here (comparison post).

Not only does Polka.com have a cute name, it's a really cute glitter top coat.  This is just one coat and I got a perfect amount of large and small glitters on each nail.  I love this look, it's so bright and fun and the colors go great together.

And I thought I'd throw in a closeup:)

If I were a blogger that came up with clever names for their posts, I would call this one
Teeny Polka Dot Bikini :)

I hope you are having a great week so far!  Take care.

  1. These go really well together. I put off getting Bikini for so long as well. I kept saying I don't need another blue. I caved finally and am glad I did. I love it.

    1. I know, I thought I had enough blues too. I had it on my wishlist, but I don't know if I ever would have pulled the trigger and got it - so I'm glad my mom did. I should compare it to other blues I have...

  2. Gah now I'm kicking myself for not grabbing polka.com! The more of the Euro Centrale collection I see and try the more I need it all. Such a perfect combo and the manicure name is perfect.

  7. Great minds do think alike :) :) I love Polka.com layered over a light blue. All my stores have been sold out of Bikini So Teeny since it came out so I nearly forgot about it. It's such a pretty light blue.

  12. I love Bikini so Teeny! I finally found it on holiday in the US and I've worn it twice already! My only issue is the formula - it was quite thin and took 3 coats, but for a gorgeous colour like this I can live with an extra coat! These are so beautiful xx
