KBShimmer Pastel Me More Swatches and Review

I have another KBShimmer for you today. This is Pastel Me More from the 2013 Spring Line.  I layered this over Julep Eloise - a perfect navy blue.
KBShimmer describes Pastel Me More as a polish that was born out of love for all things soft and girly.  This polish has a clear base with different sizes of pastel hex glitter.  This is only one coat, so you can see that the glitter pay-off is awesome.
Below you will see that I decided to try out my Butter London Matte Finish top coat for the first time.  I don't usually like matte polish on me, but this really looked cool!
I may have to try this more often.  Perhaps I will wear the manicure shiny the first day and then throw this on for a different look the next.  I know most brands carry a matte top coat, but this is the only one I have tried....and I like it:)
If you would like to check out the rest of KBShimmer's Spring Line check out some of the sites below:

I hope you are having a nice weekend so far.

  3. Oh Essie, this is awesome!!! I love it with the teal (it is teal, isn't ist?) base. I like both versions, shiny and matte. I use Essie Matte About You, I think they both mattify similarly!!! Have.a lovely Sunday!!! <3

    1. It's more of a navy blue but maybe the matte makes it look a little lighter....and possibly the lighting. yes, I'm sure any matte polish will give the same effect:)

  5. So pretty! It looks really good over the navy blue base! And the matte top coat makes the glitters really pop against the dark blue. :-)
