I liked yesterday's manicure with the Zoya and Models Own polish so much that I thought I would try it with the next 2 polishes I have to show you. This is Zoya Julie from the 2013 Lovely Collection with Models Own Boogie Nights from the Mirrorball Collection on top. These two collection seem to go very well together. They each have their match.
Models Own Boogie Nights is another top coat with various shapes and sizes of glitter. There are shards of light purple that sometimes appear holographic, blue and pink hexes, and small pink hexes. Another fun polish from Models Own. The glitter remains very sparkly throughout the day. Some glitter polishes tend to get cloudy or don't shine as much, but these keep their sparkle.
The purple base is Zoya Julie. I'm surprised they didn't already make a Julie. I was thinking that they would have to start getting into the names that are more rare. Zoya describes Julie as "full-coverage, soft wisteria purple metallic." This is such a beautiful purple that applied so easily in 2 coats. This is the same type of consistency as GeiGei and it's one of my favorite nail polish formulas. It looks like it has bits of silver sparkle throughout the polish. It's not too glittery, but not a simple creme. I also find this type of polish to be easier to apply.
You can purchase Zoya on their website or by using my referral link at the bottom of my blog.
The Models Own polish can be purchased on the Model's Own website or Ninja Polish.
Happy Friday!

I am wearing boogie nights as we speak with one from the ice cream sundae collection both models own. Mirror ball are really pretty polishes xx

DeleteJulie is so lovely - and the glitter suits her well!
ReplyDeleteYep, they were meant to be together.
DeleteVery cool! Love it.
ReplyDeleteThanks:)
DeleteJulie's the other color I absolutely must have from this collection. Great eye, too, matching the mirrorball colors with these! Did I say that on your last post? Sorry if I'm repeating myself, lolol. Can't wait to see how you rock Piaf and Jacqueline ♥
ReplyDeleteI feel like I am repeating myself by posting them together every day. Oh well. I haven't used Piaf and Jacqueline because I worry about the yellow with my skin tone. Maybe if I cover them up with enough glitter, they will be okay? :)
Deletewhat a pretty purple!
ReplyDeleteYes, it really is. I love purple and the fact that this has the sparkle is perfect.
DeleteAnother stunning combination!!!! By now I am so giddy for Zoya's new collection that I reached out to them, asking when we European gals get the chance to get our nails on them ;-)
ReplyDeleteThat's so hard when you can't get polishes that you really want. I wonder if there are people that would ship them to you?? You would think there would be a FB group for that.
DeleteSo pretty!! I just love glitter that has different shapes!
ReplyDeleteLove these two polishes together!
ReplyDeleteI love the color combo so much!!!
