Hi Again:) I have another guest post for you today! This post is from my friend Kelly at OohLaLaPolish. I have gotten to know Kelly quite well and she is such an up-beat and friendly person. It's crazy how you can only know someone through the internet, but feel like you have been friends for years. Her blog is so inviting. I love the color scheme and her profile picture says it all :) She has such cute nail looks - I love the Jamberry nail posts from her - like this one! Now take a look at this awesome Revlon polish!
Hi everyone! My name is Kelly and I run OohLaLaPolish.com. I've been following Essie's blog for some time now and she's become a great friend in the polish world. She was sweet enough to host a giveaway for Jamberry nail shields for me and I was happy to help out when she asked for a few guest bloggers. I don't do many guest posts and I had to make sure I chose something wonderful to be featured on IHeartPrettyPolish!
I've been seeing all these new Revlon polishes pop up lately in polish groups and I was so excited to find Girly in my local Rite-Aid a few weeks back.
It reminds me a lot of Revlon Whimsical, which was a dupe of Deborah Lippmann's Glitter In The Air. From what I know Girly is not a dupe of another polish and I'm very impressed with the awesome combinations Revlon has been coming up with lately!
Girly has a sheer pink base with two sizes of purple, fuchsia and light pink hex glitter. I applied two coats over Nails Inc. Devonshire Row, which is a dusty pink creme that I picked up on clearance at Sephora before the holidays.
I love the combination and am so happy I snagged Revlon Girly when I saw it. I have a feeling it will be difficult to find soon and become the Whimsical of 2013!
Thanks to Essie for this awesome opportunity to share a bit of her corner of the polish world.
Thanks Kelly for taking the time to help me out during my nail break...break. I appreciate it so much. I have had my eye on this polish, so it's funny that you chose this one. It's cool how drugstore polishes are starting to look like indies. Have a nice day everyone!
