Cult Nails Disciplined Swatches and Review

I have another Cult Nails polish from the Behind Closed Doors Collection.  This is Disciplined!

Cult Nails Disciplined

I was pretty excited about this one when I ordered the collection.  Cult Nails describes this as a "sheer but buildable soft grey with purple, pink, and blue shimmer."  I read about the sheerness, so I layered it over Zoya Dove.  I really liked the effect of this polish.  It was hard to capture the beauty in photos - the one below shows a little more of the shimmers.  In real life, this mainly looks like a light grey - until you get a closer look.  I like that about this polish and I loved wearing it for a few days.

Cult Nails Disciplined

This is a limited edition polish and can be found on the Cult Nails website for $12.00.  As I have said before, I have been very impressed with all of the Cult Nails polishes I have tried.  I encourage you to try them too!

Hope you are having a nice Monday.

  1. What a beautiful polish!!!! And aaaargh it still sits among my untrieds. Excellent layering idea, I will follow you suit. How many layers would be needed to achieve some opacity?

  2. Gorgeous! Next time I wear it I'll definitely be layering it over Dove. 4 layers was too many for me.

  3. Great layering! I haven't worn Disciplined since I originally swatched it since it's so sheer (and I'm impatient) but Dove looks to be a winner!

    1. yes, it worked well with Dove. It didn't change the color of Disciplined, which is a good thing:)

  6. I bought this and hated it. Too thin and runny for me. I ended up swapping for something else! It sure looks pretty though
