Zoya 2013 Lovely Collection Neely Review and Swatch

Hello Everyone! I hope you had a fun Christmas.  I sure did :)

I'm back with a new Zoya nail polish today.  This is Neely from the Spring 2013 "Lovely" Collection.  This Collection will be available January 1, 2013.  Zoya introduced it saying... "Spring is awash in six soft and lovely new Zoya Shades including three dewy metallics and three fresh blooms of cream.  Poetic in nature, this collection is sure to capture the beauty of the season like no other."  All of the polishes are pastel and I am excited to show each of them to you.  Here is Neely:

Zoya Neely

I decided to start with Neely because I really enjoy light green polishes. One of my favorite light greens is Essie Absolutely Shore (shown below).  As you can see Absolutely Shore is a bit lighter than Neely.  I will compare them on the nail if you would like.

Zoya Neely

Neely is described by Zoya as "Earliest Spring Green Cream".  I used 3 coats for this manicure, but you could possibly get away with 2 if you applied thick coats.  It did start out pretty sheer and streaky as do most pastel polishes, but I am always happy with the end result and don't mind the extra work.

I enjoyed wearing this light springy shade.  It feels like winter just started, but it gets me a little excited when I start seeing Spring collections come out:)

You can purchase Zoya on their website.  Also, be sure to "like" their Facebook page for promotional news.   If you don't already have an account with Zoya, you should.  They often add promotional codes to your account and if you sign up using my link on the bottom of my blog, you can receive a free bottle of nail polish.  If you add 2 additional polishes, you will receive free shipping on the entire order.  Feel free to use my referral link or go straight to the website.  I highly recommend Zoya nail polish.  They can also be found at Ulta.

Have a nice day!

Note:  Zoya Neely was provided to me for review.  See my Disclosure Policy for more information.

  1. Very pretty! I would love to see a comparison with Absolutely Shore. I have the Essie, so if they are super close I don't need the Zoya.

  3. "Earliest spring green." I love it, it reminds me of crocuses and snow melted just to the point where it looks like tiny crystal beads. This color is so lovely. I'm so excited for this collection to hit stores <3

  4. I need the entire spring collection by Zoya in my life as soon as possible, but if I had to choose 2, those would be Neely and Julia (because that's my name's English equivalent) :D

  9. This looks great on you. Initially I had mixed feelings on these 'Easter' looking shades. Have to admit they are growing on me. Seems we kind of don't have any rules this fall/winter on what to wear when...we saw brights in fall collections as well as nudes. Then some winter collections had shades I think usually are more summer. First thought it was just for those 'who did not know better..or peep way younger than me.' Now I think it's what you want to wear when...we sure see a lot of white jelly sands now. I am thinking of changing out of my Zoya Blaze I put on for Christmas with accent nail in Ziv - to a med. light pink cream! Not sure I can wear some of the shades in this new Zoya Lovely collection - need to see them in the bottle probably or just take a chance and order them - sometimes these sort of shades can be too chalky on me. I know I cannot wear Blu in thi collection - would product instant Lobster Hands on me! But that's me and my woes loving powder blues and not being able to wear 'em on my nails.

    1. "Chalky" is a great way to describe it, that has happened to me before too with pastel shades. A few of them in the collection are metallic pastel shades and perhaps wouldn't look as chalky. :( Sad that you can't wear blues - they are so pretty:) Thanks for commenting!
