This is the second polish I tried from Zoya's 2013 Lovely Collection. This is "GeiGei". The accent nail is OPI Teenage Dream from the Katy Perry Collection. If you missed out on the beautiful Teenage Dream, there are lots of dupes out there - just Google OPI Teenage Dream Dupes.
Zoya describes GeiGei as a "full coverage, blushing cherry blossom pink metallic." GeiGei is very easy to apply, but you do need at least 3 coats to achieve the full coverage look. Actually; on some nails, I could still see a bit of the nail after the 3 coats (see photo above). The photo below is 4 coats. Even though I applied 4 coats, it dried very quickly - so it doesn't get too thick with each coat.
Did anyone think "OPI Pedal Faster Suzi" when they saw this? I sure did - especially because that is one of my all time favorite OPI polishes. I LOVE Pedal Faster Suzi. As you can see below, it is very, very close. I would actually call them dupes. If you want to get really picky, the shimmer in Pedal Faster Suzi may be a bit more silvery.
The only other difference between the two is that the big OPI brush applies much more product so you achieve fuller coverage faster. Some people don't like the big moppy brushes, so GeiGei would probably be your best bet.
If you love GeiGei and haven't tried Zoya, feel free to use my referral link on the bottom of my blog to get your first polish for free. If you add 2 additional polishes to your cart, you will receive free shipping on your order.
In other news, I took all of my Christmas decorations down today. Does anyone else get excited to get your house back in order right after Christmas? I have heard it's bad luck to do it before New Years...but I don't believe it :)'
