BadAss Polish Dusk Review and Swatch

This is Dusk from BadAss Polish.  I wore this all day today and I couldn't wait to get home to take pics and show it to you.

BadAss Polish Dusk

Dusk was inspired by a clear dark night and it really does look like a star-filled night sky.  I wouldn't have been able to compare the two until I moved out of town a couple years ago.  I can't believe the difference between looking at a sky from the city and the country - I was really missing out.

This polish has a clear base so you can change the overall look very easily by changing up the base.  For the base on this I used Zoya Song.

I hope you can tell how beautiful it is.  Liesl at Liesl Loves Pretty Things described BadAss Polish's glitter so well - they are "grown up" and "sophisticated" glitter.  She is so right.  I love all sorts of glitters, but the tiny shimmers in this seems to make it more wearable than other glitters.

I have noticed a few other bloggers mention that this was their favorite of the bunch.  I would have to agree.  I have never seen anything like it.  So if you are new to indie (hand-made) polishes and want to try one that is unique, beautiful, and easy to find - choose Dusk.

I hope you enjoyed my reviews of the 4 BadAss Polishes I received.  I really enjoyed these polishes and look forward to wearing them again with other bases and accents.

I wish Amy and Chris at BadAss Polish the best of luck with this new venture.  They have really impressed me and I am confident that you will have the same experience if you try one of their polishes.   Be sure to follow their Facebook page to receive updates on new polish releases.

  3. I have to admit it...this is my favorite of the bunch too! I grew up in the country and now live in the suburbs so I still get to see a nice clear night sky and I love it! Your swatches are amazing...as always! :)

  5. Dusk looks so pretty over Song! I'm glad you like my summation, too :) I grew up in the country and so got spoiled on all the clear nights and being able to catch whatever phenomenon was occurring at the time. It's so awesome your girls get to experience it now.

    1. Yes, we have spent many nights outside by the fire looking at the stars. You have Song now right?

  6. It's a very, very pretty layering polish, I think it would be great for effect in nail art too - but they don't send outside the US...
