Saturday Sweets - Kayli's Cake

This is a cake I made for my niece Kayli.
melting cake

I am a big fan of Andrea's work from Andrea's SweetCakes. This and the other melting cake I made are inspired by her designs.  Mine; of course, don't turn out as awesome as hers - but they are so fun to do.  This was suppose to look like the frosting was oozing from the center as well as dripping from the top.  I made all of the sprinkles with fondant as well as used sugar, and silver and pearl dragees to sprinkle on top.  This was a white cake with Raspberry filling.

Kayli is my only niece and she is now 13!  She just found out about my blog  - Hi Kayli!
My daughters love having Kayli over and look up to her.  I see them trying to talk and act like her all the time.  It's so cool to have a niece a bit older to set a good example for my daughters.

Have a great Saturday everyone!

    1. You are right! And Andrea from Andrea's SweetCake where I got my inspiration has a Homer Simpson one where he is sitting on a big donut :)

    1. Thank you:) It's actually not that hard to cut into them. Lots of people think that but for some reason it doesn't bother me. I think mostly because I spent so much time on it that it's nice to put it to rest. It's closure:)
