Eloise is another awesome creation by Julep. This came in my October 2012 Maven's Choice Box. Eloise is the polish that made me choose this box because I don't have any blues like this.
As you can see, it's a beautiful creamy navy blue. This is opaque in one or two coats and glides on like butter. This is another great alternative to black. I love the fact that it's dark, but not so dark that it looks black.
Eloise is now available on the Julep site and I highly recommend it. If you don't have a Julep account and would like to try it, feel free to click the link on the bottom of my blog or go straight to their site to take a short style quiz and sign up. You can try the first box for a penny by entering COLOR2012 in the Coupon Code Section. You can change your box or skip a month at any time.

This is stunning! Such a nice colour and you have such pretty photos!
ReplyDeleteAh thank you so much!
DeleteThis color is soooooo gorgeous and so me!! I wonder how similar it is to Sinful Colors Rainstorm. This is making me kick myself that I skipped!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen Rainstorm. It seems like Sinful Colors has so many dupes...and at such a great price.
DeleteI am in love!
ReplyDeleteLOL, me too!
DeleteThis color is beautiful on you, good find! It is great for fall, and all year round come to think of it.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures and nails look great, and they go perfectly with your sweater! This does look like it is in the family of Rainstorm, a close sister? That sounds like a great polish for today as we just got our first rain in over three months.
Thank you so much. Where do you live? We haven't gotten rain all summer either! It just started drizzling on and off the past few days. Our poor grass!
DeleteNow isn't that just gorgeous! I love Julep's polishes and of course I am a Maven. I have Eloise and it just does not photograph well. It is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteIt really is a pretty color!
DeleteGorgeous! I wasn't overly impressed with the polish at first, but you captured it so beautifully.
ReplyDeleteThank you:)
DeleteSo pretty! I skipped last month, so I didn't get it. I need to put it on my wishlist.
ReplyDeleteYes, you should:)
DeleteIt's gorgeous! I have a Kiko like this and I think it's such a beautiful shade of blue!
ReplyDeleteYes. It looks great with jeans as well as dressier attire.
DeleteThere is nothing to say but that this is absolutely beautiful!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLOL...you are right! It's awesome.
DeleteThis looks really close to Nars Superstar! I love it. SO pretty on you. <3
ReplyDeleteReally? Good, then I don't have to get the Nars:)
DeleteOoo this is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt really is pretty isn't it?
Deletewow this is the perfect dark blue!
ReplyDeleteIt is perfect:)
DeleteThat looks amazing on you! The color is great, though I'm so scared to wear dark colors because my skintone is pretty pale. Also, it always looks so messy on me, I don't know how you get the polish to look so clean and even around your cuticle area. You should post some tips on that! :)
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't worry about your skin tone. Mine is pale too. I think you should try one. As far as the messy part - I know lots of people do cleanup afterwards with pure acetone and a small eyeliner brush. I haven't had to do that yet...I am just really careful when painting and I keep the brush pretty far away from the cuticle. Just don't try to paint right up to the cuticle. You are missing out on some dark colors - try it:)
DeleteSo beautiful, reminds me a bit of Essie's Bobbing For Baubles!
ReplyDeleteYes. I have that one. I should do a comparison.
DeleteReally pretty shade, love it!
ReplyDeleteYes, I love it too!
DeleteThis is a perfect blue, I don't know if I have this one or not, but I need it!!
ReplyDeleteLOL, sad when you don't know if you have it.... :)
