Are you sick of seeing indie polishes on blogs that you love, but you have to get on a waiting list, become a stalker, or pay an arm and a leg to get them? Well here is an indie...and a Deborah Lippmann Dupe, that is very easy to find. This is Across the Trailer Park from Hot Mess Lacquers.
I found out about this polish as I was searching for the very beautiful Deborah Lippmann "Across the Universe." ($18) This is such a close dupe and I can't help but wonder if they created this with Across the Universe in mind. I get a kick out of the name:)
The blue jelly base is pretty opaque. I did layer this over OPI Suzi Says Feng Shui, but I bet it would look pretty awesome on its own. I was also pleased with the fact that you get tons of glitter (blue and green) without having to fish for them. You get a nice amount on each nail with no extra effort.
Now here is the best part - you can easily pick this up! They are currently in stock on their Etsy Site Here for $9...AND they usually have them available here on Copious along with their other cool shades (with awesome names to boot!). So if you have some credits on Copious that are burning a hole in your pocket, grab this beauty. Or, if you haven't joined Copious, feel free to click my link at the bottom of my site and you will receive $10 to spend.
I am not a big fan of stalking indies that are next to impossible to find, so I always try to show polishes on my blog that you should be able to find without much effort.
Peace :)

AWESOME! I just can never get enough blue!!
ReplyDeleteMe too. I love blues:)
DeleteOoooh what a gorgeous jelly! I love that you featured an easy to obtain indie. Looks so amazing <3
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteWhat is copious about?
ReplyDeleteIt's where anyone can buy and sell nail polish new/used (like Ebay). And Copious gives out credits for opening a new account, referring others, etc. so it's pretty cool because you can get lots of rare polishes from people and use credits to buy them. You pay anything you owe through Paypal and the seller doesn't get paid until the buyer receives the product and confirms they received it by replying to a confirmation email. I was nervous when I made my first purchase, but I have made many more and they have worked out great for me so far. I've never sold anything on it though. I got this one on it and the company actually sells it rather than someone selling their used one. Let me know if you have more questions. You can email me if you want to talk about it more.
DeleteThanks. It is an interesting concept. I will check definitely check it out at some point.
DeleteThis really is an excellent dupe for ATU!!! Looks beautiful on you <3. I am totally with you regarding Indie Polishes. Just recently I again experienced the case of hopelessness snatching up a lemming of mine, because restock took place at 3 am my time and there is no way I am staying up all night to be able to place a nailposh order in the wee hours.
ReplyDeleteExactly. If I can't get it, I don't even want to see it. It's torture.
DeleteWow, that color is seriously GORGEOUS!
ReplyDeletestopping by from the linkup :)
Oh thanks! Welcome!
DeleteI absolutely love this and I'm glad you shared this Etsy site. I'm a little bit obsessed with their Concussion polish now.
ReplyDelete:) Happy Shopping.
