My first Jelly Sandwich using Zoya Reagan, Urban Outfitters Dust, and Zoya Paloma
As you know, "Jelly Sandwiches" have become popular in the nail polish world. A JS usually consists of an opaque base, a glitter, and a jelly polish on top. I ordered Zoya Paloma just for this reason as I am not a big fan of sheer/jelly polishes by themselves. I saw someone comment on Facebook that wearing a sheer polish is like wearing a shirt that shows your bra....true, very true:)
This manicure reminds me of Whimsical Ideas by Pam - Peanut Butter & Jelly; however, this doesn't have the gold glitter.
This was the first time I used Urban Outfitters "Dust" and I was very pleased with the amount of glitter you get with each brush stroke. I swatched Dust on its own and it has a pretty bluish base with small charcoal glitter and large silver glitter. It is suppose to be a dupe for Deborah Lippmann "Today Was a Fairytale"and it was only $4. Pretty awesome dupe if you ask me:)
Are you a fan of jelly sandwich manicures? If so, what is your favorite combination?

This looks amazing. Seriously the prettiest I've seen Paloma. Sandwiches are just so fun to look at, maybe more so than to actually wear... but dang, this one's pretty.
ReplyDeleteAh, thank you. I have been enjoying looking at it in different lights the past 2 days. I don't want to take it off.
