After swatching some of my Fall nail polish picks, I decided that I had to wear Butter London Toff on all of my nails.
What a wonderful application this was. I could have been done with one coat; but of course, applied two. It was so creamy and shiny.
I went over to the Butter London site to see how they described Toff and here is what they said "A darker, dustier, brownish variation on a rose pink nail lacquer. Stop to smell them. The roses, not the toffs." After reading this description, I couldn't help myself and had to Google "Toff". So here is the definition: "A member of the upper classes, especially one who is elegantly dressed." After this intense research, I decided that "Toff" is a great name for this polish. I wore this to my daughter's play today and felt pretty elegant wearing it:)
After applying Toff, I was reminded that it looked a heck of a lot like Essie Angora Cardi. In the bottle, they look pretty darn close. I will do a comparison swatch for you in the near future. I also received a new Julep shade that looks very similar too. I hope to find some dupes for you in case you don't feel like spending $14 on the Butter London.
Thanks for stopping by!
