This is one of my oldest OPI's - Mauving to Manitoba from the 2004 Canadian Collection.
The formula of this is awesome. I can't believe how nice it stayed after sitting around so long. I haven't opened this in years so my husband had to use a wrench to get it open. The brush on this one seemed a little wide. I'm not sure if that is how the older OPI brushes are, or if the polish was a little thick. I could have used one coat, but I have 2 in this shot.
This is a very pretty mauve with some iridescence. It almost had a velvet quality to it. This would be a safe color for work or other "mature" a.k.a. boring events where Floam or Jawbreaker would be frowned upon :( I try to stay away from these places!
I'm impatiently waiting for my middle nail to grow out so I can show you some of my new indies:)
Take care and thanks for stopping by!

Such a pretty color!! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks. I'm glad I dusted it off and tried it again:)
DeleteI have Movin' Out. I like to collect OPI's HTF. I don't have this one though it is really pretty. My husband had to use pliers on Movin' Out too when I pulled it out a couple of weeks ago to open it.
ReplyDeleteOh, maybe it was pliers that my husband had to use. Well it was some sort of tool and it actually made dents in the cap:( Oh well, it just makes it look that much older and loved.
DeleteI love it! Unfortunately I bet it's impossible to find :(
ReplyDeleteActually, I just looked at it's on Amazon for $5.50 :)
DeleteThis is such a pretty color! It's so fun going through older OPIs. And is it just me, or were the names better in the past? They're sort of driving me batty with their names lately, like they're over-the-top silly.
ReplyDeleteI think they are running out of ideas. I think you would be awesome at that job. Maybe see if there is an opening in their polish naming dept.! I'll provide you with a reference:)
DeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteThank you:)
