Saturday Sweets Owl Cake

Cake

Cake
This week's Saturday Sweets is an owl cake that I made for a small gathering we had at our house.  Of course, I LOVE owls, so whenever I have a chance to make a cake that doesn't have a theme, I make an owl one:)  This cake was a chocolate chip cookie flavor with vanilla mousse filling.  It was a little too sweet for me, but the kids loved it.  You can see some of my other cakes by checking out the Saturday Sweets link in the sidebar.
Thanks for looking and have a great weekend!

    1. I made the marbled look by mixing blue and white fondant, but not mixing too much. Just twisted a few times to get the the look I wanted. And the leaves were made with a leaf cutter. I will put the recipes on my "to do" list:) Thanks for stopping by!
