Julep Mila and Kate

Julep Nail Polish

Julep Nail Polish
Here is Julep Mila (sparkle) over Kate (white).  My original plan was to just use Kate, but once I got it on the nail, I realized that I couldn't pull it off.  I am in HR and have orientation tomorrow and didn't want our new employee wondering why I put White-Out on my nails.  I decided it would be a perfect opportunity to use Mila for the first time too!  It actually looks really pretty in real life.  If you have any tips on photographing glitter nail polish, please share!  (frustrated).
Mila is soooo pretty.  It's like the baby sister to OPI Rainbow Connection.  So many different colors of glitter all wrapped up in a pretty package.  I'm such a fan of Julep.  And for Kate...I think this is the best white I have used (not as streaky as most whites) so I think it will work great for a base for neons and glitters.  I'm excited to play:)
Have a great day!

  1. This is really pretty. I may be biased though as right now I'm wearing Julep Daphne with a Kate accent nail all covered in a coat of Mila.

  2. If you've found a white that applies well and doesn't streak, pull or bubble, then I'm converted to Julep.

    1. To be clear, it's better than the ones I have tried, but it's still not perfect. It isn't AS streaky as others, but it is a tad streaky on the first coat. But yes, pretty decent for a white:)

  3. lol white-out on nails is what I think of when I see white nail polish. Mila over Kate looks like a great combo! :-)

    1. Kate looks pearly in the bottle, but it isn't pearly on the nail at all. That probably would have helped the "white-out effect".

  4. Mila might be one of the only Julep polishes I'd buy outright rather than in a box! I like the idea of it being a multi glitter but fine versus chunky glitters.

    1. Yes, it's pretty unique in that aspect. I really enjoyed wearing it today:)
