Etoile Pink Panache and Shimmer Polish Tiffany Swatch/Review

Hello and welcome back.  I hope you had a nice weekend.  Summer has finally arrived, so I planted my flower gardens and we also planted a few trees.  I love how trees can change the whole look of the yard.

Today I have another Etoile polish for you.  This is Pink Panache.  I received this in the 3-pack I purchased about a month ago through a deal on Living Social.  I posted about Etoile Urban Violet here. The glitter accent is a Shimmer Polish called Tiffany with no base.

Etoile Pink Panache Shimmer Polish Tiffany
As mentioned in my Urban Violet review, Etoile nail polishes are infused with real diamond dust.  The sparkly finish you get with these polishes is amazing!
Etoile Pink Panache Shimmer Polish Tiffany
Shimmer Polish Tiffany is packed with pink and blue glitter.  I have found that if I want an opaque glitter, I grab the Shimmers Polishes. There is such a wide variety of colors and combinations and it's awesome that you don't have to worry about a base color.

Both polishes applied easily with two coats. I enjoyed this easy summer look over the weekend:)

Etoile polishes can be purchased here for $18/bottle.  If you are going to spend money on a higher-end polish, I think these are the way to go.  They are very unique in that they have the diamond dust and they have a great formula. It's hard for me to spend money on high-end creme polishes as there are so many affordable cremes to choose from.  I will spend the extra money for something truly unique.

Lime Crime Peaches Cream Swatch/Review

Have you heard of Lime Crime?  You may know them from their bright and beautiful ads featuring women with neon lips, hair, eye shadow, and nails.  Just Google "Lime Crime" and you'll see what I mean.  I love their whole look - from their ads, to their packaging, to their website - it just draws me in. Of course, I had to try their nail polish.  The polishes I wanted were out-of-stock for quite a while, but you better believe I was stalking their site in order to catch the re-stock.  Once they re-stocked, I limited myself to two (so hard).  Of course, I had to get the green one (Pastelchio) and I decided on this creamy neon peachy orange - Peaches <3 Cream.
Lime Crime Peaches Cream
I couldn't believe how hard this polish was to photograph.  It is described on the Lime Crime site as a neon peach, so that would explain why.  Neons are my worst enemy when it comes to getting a true-to-color picture.  Just look at these pics...none of them are the same - they look like three different nail polishes:(
Even though neon polishes are my enemy for blogging, they are my best friend on the nails.
Lime Crime Peaches Cream
Formula wise, Peaches <3 Cream was pretty thick and a little tricky to work with.  The thickness makes this polish completely opaque in two coats, which is good. Unlike most neon polishes, the formula of Peaches <3 Cream is creamy.  You don't have to use a white base, and it doesn't end up matte.  These pictures don't do this polish justice.  I checked for other swatches online and it looks like lots of people have issues with capturing the neon-ness.  It's soooo bright, bold, and beautiful! An added bonus, it makes me look tan.
Lime Crime Peaches Cream
Lime Crime polishes are very affordable at $5.99/bottle.  I love all of the colors and hope to collect them all at some point.  I think Lavendairy will be my next purchase.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!  I plan to plant some flowers now that it's warm and sunny.

KBShimmer 2013 Summer Collection It's Razz-ical Review/Swatch

Welcome to my blog!  I have a new KBShimmer Polish to share with you.  This is It's Razz-ical from their 2013 Summer Collection.

KBShimmer It's Razz-ical
KBShimmer describes It's Razz-ical as a "red-violet shade leaning towards the purple side of raspberry.  Loaded with holographic hex glitters in magenta, silver, and pink."  The base is a jelly that creates a floating effect when mixed with glitter.  You get a jelly sandwich all in one bottle!

When taking these pics, I found it hard to capture the true sparkle and beauty.  Some of the shots where I am blocking out the light seem to capture it the best.
KBShimmer It's Razz-ical
This is 3 coats and the application was great.  I used two coats of Pretty & Polished Swift Sparkle Top Coat to create the smooth finish.

I'm sure you know that KBShimmer is one of my favorite indie brands.  I enjoy the unique combinations and the quality of the polish.  Feel free to check out some of my other KBShimmer polishes by clicking the KBShimmer Label on the sidebar --->
